This super easy and fun twist on a calzone was a favorite for my toddlers. Not only do they like helping to make it, choose their own toppings, but they also liked eating them.
INGREDIENTS:
1 skull mold, I used this one from Michaels
1 can pizza dough
Shredded mozzarella
italian seasoning (can skip if toddler is picky)
Raos italian pizza sauce
Chopped sausage, pepperonis, etc.
veggies of choice
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray mold with olive oil spray.
Roll out pizza dough and cut into 6 different strips (or big enough to fit mold and cover toppings).
Press dough into skull cavities lightly. Add sauce, cheese, then toppings and finish with more cheese.
Fold over and pinch to seal. You may need to cut off any excess. Don't worry if it looks rough on the back side. The front is the important part!
Bake at 400 for 20 min or until golden brown.
Let cool and pop out!
